Dr. Andrea MacDougall, Medical Program Director – Cardiovascular and Stroke Program and Division Head – Cardiology at TBRHSC, shows how Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) gives a close-up view of the artery to determine the amount of plaque buildup along the artery walls. It was one of the pieces of equipment purchased using donor dollars from the Northern Cardiac Fund in 2012.
