A special meeting of the Thunder Bay Police Services Board will be held on Tuesday August 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at 1200 Balmoral Street. Andy Hay will be sworn in as Deputy Chief.
The Police Services Board states, “Deputy Chief Andy Hay brings a great deal of experience both operationally and administratively to the position. During his career he has been recognized for his work in restorative youth justice and the development of major case management in Ontario. Deputy Hay is a graduate of the Canadian Police College Executive Development Program and Lakehead University’s Business Leadership Program.
Deputy Hay is a 27 year veteran of the Thunder Bay Police Service. He is a life long resident of Thunder Bay and is married with two sons.
