THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – Thunder Bay Dairy Producers recently announced their support for the 2019 TELUS Cup with a donation of $10,000.

“Thunder Bay Dairy Producers are excited to partner with the Thunder Bay Kings and the Telus Cup. Dairy Farmers are pleased to provide hockey players with the opportunity to Recharge with Milk after their games and training” Said Ben Brukelman, Vice Chair, Thunder Bay Dairy Producer Committee “Working with the Thunder Bay Kings is an excellent opportunity to showcase why Chocolate Milk is an athlete’s best choice for a recovery drink” he added.

“We are very grateful for the support of the Dairy Producers,” said Murray Wiebe, Treasurer of the TELUS Cup organizing committee, “their support is essential for the success of the 2019 Canadian Midget Hockey championship.”

Attending the presentation from the Producers were (from left to right) Mark Bolt- Chairman, Henry Mol- Secretary, and Ben Breukelman- Vice Chair and to the far right, Richard Templemen. Representing the TELUS Cup and the Thunder Bay Kings were Mackenzie Lockyer and Murray Wiebe. They were all joined by Max Bolt at the front.

Tickets can be obtained by going to the HockeyCanada.ca website and clicking on Championships or the Thunder Bay Kings. They will also be available at the Tournament Centre this weekend during the Neebing Minor Hockey Tournament. Early Bird week long Event Packages are available at the very affordable price of $63 each for Adults and $42 for those under 18 but only until Feb 3.
