THUNDER BAY – UPDATED – The roadways are now open. Police advise that their search efforts started as a result of a motor vehicle accident. There are no added details in this developing situation.
Earlier – Thunder Bay Police have closed off a section of Court Street in the Northward. The area is between Bay Street and Cornwall and includes Johnson Avenue.
Early details are that Thunder Bay Police uniformed officers with possible support from the tactical unit are on the scene.
The k-9 Unit is also involved in the search.
