QUEENS PARK – The Standing Committee of the Ontario Legislature on Finance & Economic Affairs will be holding pre-budget hearings across Ontario.

The Hearings will be as follows:
  • Toronto on January 15 and 29, 2019
  • Dryden, Timmins, Ottawa, Sarnia, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Peterborough during the week of January 21 and on January 28, 2019.
We are asking local coalitions to register for the hearings in their towns and encouraging all supporters, members and affiliates to do the same. We will provide a template submission for everyone by the end of next week and we can provide all the support you need to make it local and relevant to your issues while echoing the key messages. Deadline for standing to make an oral presentation
Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation to the Committee on January 15, 2019, should provide their contact name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to the Clerk of the Committee by 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019.
Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation to the Committee during the week of January 21, on January 28, or on January 29, 2019, should provide their contact name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and preferred location to the Clerk of the Committee by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.

Deadline to send in a written submission
Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the issue may send a written submission to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.
