Family Dealing with Tragedy

THUNDER BAY – Kylie Mckay, the young girl who was struck down in a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday is the daughter of Kyle Mckay. Kyle Mckay the Hoop Dancer who was attacked in the downtown southward as reported on NetNewsledger.com on July 23rd.

Sources report to NetNewsledger.com that the family was returning from a shopping trip, and were taking in their bags.

Thunder Bay Police have not, at this point, laid any charges in the incident.

If you would like to assist the family you can drop off donations at Eat Local Pizza and Pastry at 401 North May Street, or at Apt. 13-288 Windsor Street in Thunder Bay.

As you can imagine, the family is gathering together. Some family members are travelling into Thunder Bay from Sachigo First Nation. Others are coming from other communities.

Aunt Mona Neekin says, “What we actually need are bottled water, beverages such as soda’s, and juice seem to be what is going fast! OHHHH ICE would be much appreciated so I could use a cooler to cool off the pop/water”.
