DALLAS, Texas – SPORTS – The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) announced its Apex Learning Virtual School Peak Performers for the month of October and among those garnering accolades was Thunder Bay major midget Kings forward Nikolas Campbell.
Campbell was tabbed as the NOJHL’s offensive performer of the month for his efforts during the second NAPHL event of the season, which took place in Blaine, Minn., from October 19-22.

Thunder Bay Kings U-18 forward Nickolas Campbell, 16, helped his team to a 3-1-0 record during the October event and put up some great offensive numbers.
The Thunder Bay product had seven points in four games, which included three goals and four assists.
Campbell recorded at least one point in all four games and had two multi-point games, which included two goals, including the game-winner, in a 4-2 win over Colorado Springs.
He is presently tied for second in under-18 NAPHL Elite Division scoring with 10 points this season with teammate Nicholas De Grazia.
The Kings, as well as their minor midget counterparts, return to NAPHL action Nov. 9-12 in Dallas.
Thunder Bay sits in second spot in U-18 play with a 6-2-0-0 record while the U-16 Kings lead their division with a 6-1-0-1 mark.
