DRYDEN – NEWS – On October 13, 2018, at approximately 5:44 am officers from the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an assault disturbance in the town of Wabigoon.

Two injured people were transported by the North West Emergency Medical Services (NWEMS) to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Dryden OPP arrested and charged Joy MOOSE (27 years old) of Pikangikum for aggravated assault contrary to Section 268 of the Criminal Code. She will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on October 14, 2018.

Members of the OPP North West Region Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services (FIS) are assisting with the investigation.
