Police Seek Assistance in Brodie Street Bear Spray Attack

THUNDER BAY – CRIME –  Thunder Bay Police are investigating an assault that occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m. on June 26, 2018, in Brodie Street and Victoria Avenue area.

Police report that a 21-year-old male victim was driving slowly on Brodie Street with his window down when his vehicle was suddenly approached and he was sprayed with what is believed to be bear spray.

He drove to a Simpson Street location where he stopped his car and called 911 for assistance. He was treated by paramedics for the effects of the spray and transported to the hospital for follow up treatment.

Police are looking to speak to any witnesses to this incident who can identify the suspect responsible for spraying the vicitm.
