THUNDER BAY – Thunder Pride organizers are busy preparing for the 2018 Thunder Pride Parade and Pride in the Park Events on Saturday, June 16th.
This year’s parade will be the largest to date after the size of entries has doubled since last year.
For the first time ever Thunder Pride Association will have a licensed beer garden, interactive circus and free yoga alongside our usual local bands and entertainment.
The parade starts at 11:30 and heads from Waverly Park down Red River Road to the Marina for Pride in the Park.
Pride in the Park runs from 12 pm to 6 pm and the beer gardens will be open from 3pm-6pm close to the stage.
Thunder Pride will be breaking in the new stage for the Marina as they are the first to use it since The city of Thunder Bay bought it.
