Police Seek Arthur Street Mac’s Robbery Suspect

THUNDER BAY – CRIME – The Thunder Bay Police Service have released a video which they hope will bring someone from the public forward to help identify a male involved in a robbery early this morning at the Mac’s Convenience Store located on Arthur Street.

Police say that the suspect entered the store around 5:30 am on May 3, 2018, and attempted to use a debit card. When the PIN number failed, he pulled out a syringe and demanded money from the male clerk. The suspect left the store was a small amount of cash. The employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as an Indigenous male approximately 20 years old. He is 5’10” tall with a thin build and short brown hair. He was wearing a plaid bush jacket, dark pants, and brown footwear.
