THUNDER BAY – Street Teams hit downtown Fort William today as a part of a continuing effort toward helping to raise awareness of Hep C and HIV. Today Jessica Laesser and AJ Hart along with Doctor Everall from the Esquaga Clinic were on duty at the Odd Fellows Hall in downtown Fort William.

As the snow melts and weather starts improving, Thunder Bay’s entire south core is showing the weary wear of a long winter as the evidence of drugs and substance abuse hammer away at the downtown.

There is lots of work needed to keep the downtown clean. On the west side of Victoria Avenue, the Fort William BIA completed their first clean up last week.
