Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford spoke to an audience of over two hundred people last night at the Finlandia Club. Ford’s speech, about thirty minutes in length was interrupted several times with loud applause. Ford touched on the issues he says are what the Progressive Conservatives are hearing from Ontario voters. He vowed that on June 8th Ontario will wake up to a new direction.
He promised that he will not be cutting jobs to make the needed savings to get Ontario’s economy back on track.

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Workers at the Port Arthur Medical Clinic represented by Unifor are walking the picket line today. Andy Savela from Unifor has the Union side of the issue. Savela states if the workers accept the offer from management, by next year they will be two cents under Ontario’s minimum wage law.

Fuel prices across the region range from $1.249 in Dryden, $1.24.4 at the Husky on Chipman Street in Kenora, In Thunder Bay, the lowest price in the city is $134.0 at the Real Canadian Superstore on Memorial across from Kasper Transporation.
