Patrick Brown is out. The former leader of the Progressive Conservatives is out of the leadership race. On Monday, Brown released a statement dropping out of the race. There are published reports in the Toronto Star that Brown’s decision came hours after he found out the Hamilton Police are investigating issues surrounding riding nominations. Brown’s statement, however, says he needs to focus all his energies on the lawsuit against CTV, protecting his family and friends, and that the PC Party’s future is in good hands.
