THUNDER BAY – Tal Augruso of Thunder Bay got an early Christmas gift today. This afternoon, at Intercity Shopping Centre, he was announced as the winner of $17,357 in this year’s sold-out Intercity Shopping Centre 50/50 Cash Draw (Ticket No. 01950). Altogether, 10,000 tickets were sold.

This was the 18th year of the Intercity Shopping Centre 50/50 Cash Draw. Altogether, the draw has raised $197,072 – all to support world-class patient and family centred care for the people of our community. Funds from this year’s draw ($17,357) will support the Northern Cardiac Fund as well as the WE-CAN (Wellness and Exercise for Individuals Living with Cancer) Program. The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation and Intercity Shopping Centre wish to thank all who took time to purchase tickets this year, and to thank the multiple volunteers who made this draw possible once again.
