No Injuries in Sioux Lookout Plane Crash

Sioux Lookout, ON – The Sioux Lookout Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Sioux Lookout Volunteer Fire Services and the Northwest EMS were dispatched to a private plane that crashed while landing at the Sioux Lookout Airport.

There were two occupants on the plane and neither sustained life-threatening injuries. One of the occupants was transported to the hospital via ambulance for precautionary measures but was cleared medically shortly after.

The plane was leaking fluids that were contained by the Sioux Lookout Volunteer Fire Services were able to contain and clean up.
