THUNDER BAY – From September 26th – October 7, 2017 the ever-so-popluar Northern Delights Harvest is returning to  Thunder Bay’s Waterfront District to offer specially priced Prix Fixe menus.  This event is presented by a collective of downtown north-side restaurants, producers and suppliers and Tourism Thunder Bay.

Prix Fixe menus highlighting the best of Thunder Bay’s culinary delights will be priced at $25 and/or $35. Participating restaurant menus and sponsoring producers and suppliers is available on Facebook at NorthernDelightsTbay.

Northern Delights welcomes nine participating restaurants including Bight, El Tres, In Common, Nook, Portside (Prince Arthur Hotel), Red Lion Smokehouse, Silver Birch, Sovereign Room, The Foundry and Tomlin. Behind the scenes there are also ten plus local producers and suppliers also contributing to the offerings for this campaign.

Northern Delights was created in collaboration with Tourism Thunder Bay as a way to boost tourism and the impact on retail and culinary sectors during typically slower travel seasons. Since its inception in the winter of 2016 – over 4,000 diners have been served – many from close-haul USA and regional markets. “This is a stellar example of local entrepreneurs collaborating to create an experience with the potential to draw people into a retail core, increase sales, as well as visitation to the city” says Paul Pepe, Manager of Tourism Thunder Bay.

“We encourage you to visit the Waterfront District during this limited time offer and to try all of the great places you’ve been hearing so much about”.
