THUNDER BAY – Get ready, get set, go! Treasure hunting for household treasures is back this weekend in Thunder Bay.

Start gathering up your treasures to give away!

Treasure Exchange Days returns Sept. 9 & 10! Label your items “FREE” and place at the curbside after 5 pm on Friday, Sept. 8. Check your neighbourhood for free treasures you want. Remove any uncollected items from your curbside by 7 pm on Sunday, Sept 10.

The City advises that you make sure that items like bikes, toys, and tools are kept well away from the curb in order to mitigate any possible misunderstandings.

Thunder Bay’s first Treasure Exchange Days event took place in early September 2014, and was a great success. The event was repeated in June and September 2015 and again, residents greeted it with enthusiasm and many great treasures were exchanged!

This event is a part of the City’s Solid Waste management plan.
