OPP Nab Suspect in Break and Enter and Mischief Incidents

KENORA – On August 15, 2017, members of the Kenora Ontario Provincial Police received a 911 call at approximately 12:30PM CDT regarding damage to a vehicle and stated the suspect was still present.

Police attended the scene and the suspect gone from the scene. The complainant informed police she observed a male cause damage to her vehicle and the witness provided police with a description of the suspect.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that the suspect also attempted entry into a residence within the vicinity of the damaged vehicle.

Police along with the assistance of the Northwest Canine Unit, located the male suspect and arrested him.

As a result of this investigation, Apollo BAKER, age thirty-one from Kenora has been charged with Break and Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence, Mischief over $5,000 x 2.

Baker is to appear in Kenora court on August 16, 2017 to answer to the charges.
