THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Police were called to an altercation that had occurred inside NV Nightclub on Red River Road just before 2:00AM EDT on Sunday June 11, 2017.
When officers arrived they discovered that a twenty-two-year old male had been injured and was bleeding.
He was transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center for medical attention. He remains in the hospital.
Follow up investigation has identified the male responsible for this aggravated assault.
A warrant is being requested for his arrest and investigators are currently attempting to locate him.
Reports of the incident flooded social media with pictures and explanations from people who apparently saw or perhaps witnessed what happened. Police are asking that people share that information directly with them rather than on social media.
This investigation is ongoing.
