THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are seeking information from the public in the death of a seventeen-year-old female whose body was discovered on Monday near the Neebing McIntyre Floodway in Northwood.
Police have identified the teenager as Tammy Keeash, who is reportedly from Round Lake First Nation.
According to a media release from Thunder Bay Police Keeash was last seen on Saturday, May 6th 2017 in the 300 block of North Edward Street in Northwood.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen Tammy Keeash from that time to when she was found Sunday night is asked to call them at 684-1200.
Police say any little bit of information could assist in piecing together what led up to her death. Investigators are awaiting the results of the postmortem which is scheduled for tomorrow.
