Suspect in Custody Faces Break and Enter Charges

THUNDER BAY – A suspect is in custody following a break and enter at a home in the 200 Block of Shuniah Street on the north side of the city. The incident happened just after 09:00AM EDT this morning. The homeowner discovered the unwanted individual in their home.

Police were called and responded with six units.

The homeowner had reportedly restrained the intruder, a male who is twenty-one-years of age.

The suspect who has not yet appeared before the courts, and therefore can not yet be named faces several charges including Breaking and Entering, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
