THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are seeking assistance from the public following a robbery at a Mac’s Convenience Store location on Cumberland Street.

Police report that just before 6:00AM on Thursday, March 16th 2017, a suspect entered the Mac’s on Cumberland Street. He then made himself a coffee, and went to the counter and asked the clerk for two packages of cigarettes.

According to police, the suspect then threw the coffee at the employee and took the cigarettes. He then ran out of the store.

The suspect is described as an Indigenous male; 5’10” tall with a thin build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark jacket, a tan or light brown coloured toque, and white Adidas running shoes.
