Suspicious Fires in Southcore Under Investigation

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – The Thunder Bay Police are currently investigating three suspicious fires that have occurred in the South Core of the city.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue attended the Victoriaville Mall Parkade just before 3:00 a.m. on February 9, 2017 to deal with a vehicle that was fully engulfed in flames. At approximately 1:00 a.m. on February 10, 2017 Fire responded to a snow machine in rear of pick up on fire in the area of Miles St. and Vickers St. A short time later a third fire was put out by fire in the lane way of the 200 block between Syndicate Ave and Archibald Street, just south of Donald Street. The fire consuming the brush and fence was extinguished by emergency crews.

The Thunder Bay Police Criminal Investigations Branch is continuing to investigate all of these incidents.
