Minor midget Kings off to Marlboros Holiday Classic in Toronto

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay minor midget Kings are off to the provincial capital to compete in the annual Toronto Marlboros Holiday Classic tournament.

Game action for Thunder Bay begins Tuesday at 5 p.m. as they take on the Barrie Jr. Colts.

A pair of contests awaits the Kings on Wednesday starting with an 11:05 a.m. face-off with the Lambton Jr. Sting.

They will then wrap-up the day against the North York Rangers at 4 p.m.

Round robin play for the club concludes Thursday with a 9:25 a.m. match-up vs. the Mississauga Reps.

There are a total of 51 teams competing in the minor midget division of the event with squads from Ontario, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Ohio taking part.
