THUNDER BAY – NEWS – The Bay Credit Union on Algoma Street was robbed on August 11, 2016, shortly after 4:30PM EDT. Thunder Bay Police Service report that officers responded to a robbery that took place at a Credit Union on the north side of the City.

Police state that “A lone male suspect described as being Caucasian, thin build, wearing a multi-coloured beige winter coat, blank pants, sunglasses and a yellow hardhat with a visor and ear muffs entered the bank armed with a weapon and after confronting staff, fled the area on a bike with an undisclosed amount of money”.

The staff was shaken up over the ordeal, but no one was injured.
