Viceland presents Cut Off

THUNDER BAY – The issues facing Northwestern Ontario Indigenous communities are featured in this video from Vice Media.

The company was the only media outlet allowed to accompany Prime Minister Trudeau when he went to Shoal Lake 40 First Nation earlier this spring.

Shoal Lake 40 has struggled under a boil water order, been in effect cut off from access to the rest of Ontario and yet Shoal Lake is the source of water for the City of Winnipeg.
