Structural Fire on Valley Street Damages Home

THUNDER BAY – At 19:35 on Monday, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue Service responded to a structural fire at 227 Valley Street. The first arriving unit found nothing showing on arrival.

However, after opening the front door smoke was seen coming from the main floor of the bi-level home.

A water line was brought through the front door to the kitchen where the fire was knocked down and quickly brought under control.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue report that the fire was contained to the kitchen area but also caused heavy smoke damage to the entire home.

There were no injuries to report from fire fighting efforts in this blaze.
