THUNDER BAY – The City of Thunder Bay advises that a precautionary boil water advisory is remaining in effect for customers in pressure Zone 2N, extending north of Oliver Road and west of Algoma Street, as city crews continue to make progress toward restoring full system pressure.

Repairs to the Chamberlain Pumping Station are expected to continue throughout the day.

City representatives continued to hand deliver precautionary boil water advisory notices to affected customers in Zone 2N through the night, and delivery is nearing completion. Notice will be provided when the precautionary boil water advisory is lifted.

All customers city-wide are asked to continue to limit non-essential water use wherever possible as service is being restored.

The Environment Division would like to thank all residents for their patience as repair and restoration efforts are ongoing.
