TEDx Salon Set for Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – The TEDx Salon on Thursday night will explore Thunder Bay’s Digital Economy: Technology’s Impact on our Economy and our Society.

The TEDx Salon is a precursor event to the TEDx event happening in June, 2016. This salon is the first of three salons that will take place before June, 2016.

The evening will feature two relevant TED talk films paired with lively discussion and a panel of local knowledgable panelists from various sectors that will put the talks in context of Thunder Bay.

The growing impact internationally, globally, and locally of the digital economy can not be overlooked. Thunder Bay geographically is in the middle of North America, but through our digital reach our community is global. Researchers at Lakehead University reach the world. Students come to Thunder Bay from around the world.

Products made in Thunder Bay are shipped internationally.
