DRYDEN – SPORTS – The City of Dryden in partnership with Little Bands Native Youth Hockey Tournament have announced that the 2016 tournament will be hosted at the Dryden Memorial Arena during the week of February 7th.
This year the organizers are aiming to grow the tournament to accept 50+ teams representing youth from 4-16 years old.
The Little Bands Native Youth Hockey Tournament organizers chose Dryden this year because they feel that the facility with two ice surfaces helps to address safety concerns and convenience for tournament participants and spectators. Travel time and distance is less to and from games for players, coaches, families and volunteers.

Besides the great investment into the local economy, the Dryden Memorial Arena will be fully booked for the week-long tournament using both ice surfaces and we look forward to seeing Dryden residents and businesses enjoy the games and friendship with our First Nation neighbours.
Free Wifi and concession stand will be available on-site for everyone and media are welcome to attend.
