Mackenzie Tour – PGA CANADA Staal Foundation Open Generating Excitement

THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – The The Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada Staal Foundation Open is 39 days away and counting. Scott Smith the tournament’s executive director shares some of the excitement as “The Roar Starts Here”.

This year there are a number of exciting new parts to the Staal Foundation Open.

First off there are opportunities to volunteer. The Staal Foundation Open will have a booth set up at Intercity Mall in Thunder Bay on Saturday June 6th. If you are looking for a great time, a fun group to work with, volunteer hours for high school, or you want to caddy, make your way to Intercity Mall.

The Monday of the Staal Open promises to be extra fun for the fans as they will get to greet and meet the sports stars and celebrities who will be at the tournament.

Bobby Orr is coming, and so is Grant Fuhr to name-drop a couple of the celebrities who are coming.

The Million Dollar Shoot Out is generating a lot of buzz as across Northwestern Ontario, golfers can get the chance to come to Thunder Bay and have a shot at winning a million dollars.

The next live event with the Staal Foundation will be June 9th.
