Crime Update

Regional Crime ReportDRYDEN – Dryden Police arrested thirty-one-year-old Justin Desautels last week. Desautels made an appearance on Wednesday in Dryden Bail Court charged with a number of offences.

Desautels continues to be held in custody and will appear next the 5th of June. He is charged with obstruct police, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance (x2), two sexual offences and unauthorized possession of ammunition.

Crime Update

On May 14 Police were called regard to North Dryden home regarding an unwanted person, which resulted in the arrest of two persons. One female was arrested for trespassing, and 49-year-old Herbert Smith was arrested for breaching the conditions of a recognizance. He remains in custody after two bail court appearances and will be in court again on May 22nd.

On May 20, 2015, Dryden Police encountered a male causing a disturbance on Colonization Avenue. Jonathan Land was arrested for breaching the conditions of his probation order. In addition he has been charged with causing a disturbance, as well as assault on a jail guard at the Dryden Police Office and uttering threats to the guard.
