Worst Roads 2015THUNDER BAY – It may come as a surprise to many, but none of Thunder Bay’s roads made it to the CAA’s Worst roads in Ontario this year. Over two thousand roads were nominated. This year, the top spot, or is it worst spot is Algonquin Boulevard West in Timmins Ontario.

Timmins has three roads on the provincial Top 10 list, while Toronto has two, including Dufferin Street, which previously help the number one spot for three years.

The condition of roads across the province continues to be on the minds of many Ontarians. This was evident in the strong response during the 2015 CAA Worst Roads campaign. Over 2,000 roads were nominated!

Representatives from Ontario Road Builders’ Association (ORBA) have reviewed and verified the 2015 Top 10.

For Thunder Bay the amount of road construction coming this summer is fairly major once again.

City officials are pushing hard to get Arthur Street finished. The north end of Golf Links Road is now closed until fall for re-construction.
