Armed Robberies Keep Thunder Bay Police Busy Friday Night

Crime Report Thunder BayTHUNDER BAY – CRIME NEWS – Thunder Bay Police were kept busy last night.

Police were looking for a suspect involved in two armed robberies at two local hotels. Just after 2:30AM, Thunder Bay Police  report that a male suspect entered the Comfort Inn on Arthur Street armed with pepper spray and demanded money from the employee. The male fled the scene on foot.

Approximately one hour later, the Holiday Inn Express on Carrick Street was robbed by the same male carrying pepper spray.

In both robberies the male fled with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured.

The male suspect is described as being 5’8″, 180lbs, Caucasian, wearing a hooded sweater and ski goggles.
