OPP Ontario Provincial PoliceSIOUX LOOKOUT – NEWS – The death of Deidre Payayash a twenty-nine-year old mother from Weagamon First Nation is no longer considered suspicious. Payayash died in a hotel room in Sioux Lookout earlier this week. The OPP state that a post-mortem examination was completed on the body of Deidre Patayash, 29, and the family has been informed of the findings.

Police are not releasing the cause of death.

Payayash’s boyfriend Alvin Ash, a thirty-two-year old man who is from Cat Lake First Nation has been charged with assault in connection with the investigation into the death according to the OPP.

Ash appeared in Sioux Lookout provincial court on Friday and was released with an order to appear again on December the 9th 2014.
