SIOUX LOOKOUT – Its time to nice, not naughty. Especially in Sioux Lookout, Santa Claus will be visiting the Heritage Railway Station from 11am-3pm on Saturday, November 22, 2014!
This event will also offer a kids’ “holiday craft corner” led by Sioux Lookout visual artist Angela Monheim. Visitors will have the opportunity to put together a holiday-inspired decoration.
Holiday refreshments will also be provided and donations of non-perishable food items or new toys in support of First Step Women’s Shelter’s “Adopt a Family” program are warmly encouraged.
This event is free and open to all!
Reilly Scott, Municipal Arts & Culture Coordinator explains, “We are greatly looking forward to hosting this exciting holiday event for the community. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and speak with Santa, create a holiday craft under the supervision of Angela Monheim, one of Sioux Lookout’s many talented visual artists, and/or just relax and enjoy some holiday treats, decorations and music. We are happy to, once again, be able to host a holiday event at the Heritage Railway Station as it is such an important historic building in our community. We encourage everyone to join us at this event”.
