An approaching weather disturbance will bring snow to portions of far northwestern Ontario beginning later today and continuing tonight. General snowfall amounts of 5 to locally 10 centimetres are expected.
A powerful cold front will blast through the regions tonight with very gusty northwest winds and rapidly falling temperatures. Winds gusting to 70 km/h will result in reduced visibilities in blowing snow . Conditions will improve Saturday morning as winds diminish.
Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.
