THUNDER BAY – LIVING – Pink has been popping up in arenas and rinks around Thunder Bay, with young athletes showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness during October.

Socking it to Breast Cancer

Since October 4th, the TBMFA Bantam division Marauders football team has been suiting up in pink football socks at their games to build public awareness of breast cancer. Last year they sported pink shoelaces.

Sticking with Pink

The Westfort Maroons Bantam AA hockey team took to the ice October 8th showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness with their hockey sticks taped in pink. The Maroons Team is showing its support throughout the month of October.
