Scott McFadden out as CEO at Thunder Bay Airport
THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay International Airport is looking for a new leader. Scott McFadden after seventeen years at the helm is out as CEO. TBIAA Board Chair Ian McCormack has confirmed that after 17 years with the airport, McFadden has left the employment of the Thunder Bay Airport.
Ed Schmidtke has taken over as temporary CEO until they can find a replacement, which could take as long as six months.
There has been no explanation offered as to why McFadden is no longer with the Airport. Sources have suggested there was a disagreement on the direction of the Authority between the CEO and the Board of Directors.
The Thunder Bay International Airport is one of the busiest airports on a per capita basis in Canada.
