Ontario Election
DRYDEN – The Board of Directors for the Dryden District Chamber of Commerce are hosting an All Candidates Forum for Candidates for Municipal Council on Tuesday, September 30th as part of the 2014 Municipal Election. The Forum is scheduled for 7:00PM CDT on September 30th at The Centre in Dryden.

Chamber Chair and moderator of the Forum James Cochrane states, “This is an exciting time for municipalities across Ontario. It is a positive indicator of our community’s vitality that we have so many individuals interested in participating municipal government as public representatives, and it is a privilege to be part of this process. As residents deliberate and vote for their municipal leaders for the next 4 years, there are many issues to be considered and we are looking forward to hearing from all the candidates on a wide range of topics.”

Residents who are unable to attend are encouraged to submit their questions for the candidates by email to drydenvotes@gmail.com, or by delivering prepared questions to the Chamber office located in the Visitor Information Centre beside Max the Moose.

Time will be allocated for both questions from the floor and prepared questions.

The first half of the forum will be designated for the 11 Council Candidates, and the second half will provide the 3 Mayoral Candidates the opportunity to respond to questions.
