DRYDEN – SIJHL HOCKEY – Chris Belhumeur will be playing for Northland College, in Ashland, Wisconsin this season.

Former Dryden Ice Dog Chris Belhumeur has enrolled at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin and will be playing hockey for the NCAA Division III Northland Lumberjacks of the Midwest Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Originally from Swan River, Manitoba, Chris played 3 seasons for the Dryden Ice Dogs, scoring 138 points in 145 regular season games as a forward. At 6’2” and 200 lbs, Belhumeur will bring his scoring touch and strong leadership presence to Northlands College.

Northlands Assistant coach Mike Lennon, who is also a Dryden Ice Dogs alumnus, commented “I couldn’t be more happy to see somebody like Chris move on to the next level and join us here at Northland College.” The Dryden Ice Dogs are excited to see Chris continue his hockey development and wish him all the best as he pursues his education.
