DRYDEN – Dryden is likely to lose its Sobeys operated IGA grocery store. The company is downsizing and eliminating what have been called “underperforming stores” in the company’s chain of stores.

Sources relay to NNL that employees in Dryden have been told that the store in Dryden will be one of the stores closed.

The company’s retail banners include Sobeys, Safeway, IGA extra, Thrifty Foods, IGA, Foodland, FreshCo, Price Chopper, Lawtons Drugs, Rachelle-Béry, Needs, Marché Bonichoix and Les Marchés Tradition
