THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police Service are providing added details on an incident that happened on Friday evening. The hit and run left a nineteen-year-old man with injuries and a trip to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Police now state that “The Criminal Investigations Branch is following up on the June 20, 2014 hit & run which injured a 19 year old pedestrian. The male victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a silver coloured Volkswagan just after 8:00 p.m. on Friday night. There had been a verbal confrontation between the driver and the victim prior to the collision. The vehicle did not remain at the scene”.
