Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police Service are providing added details on an incident that happened on Friday evening. The hit and run left a nineteen-year-old man with injuries and a trip to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Police now state that “The Criminal Investigations Branch is following up on the June 20, 2014 hit & run which injured a 19 year old pedestrian. The male victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a silver coloured Volkswagan just after 8:00 p.m. on Friday night. There had been a verbal confrontation between the driver and the victim prior to the collision. The vehicle did not remain at the scene”.

We are encouraging the driver of the vehicle and or the female passenger to come forward to police. They can contact the TBPS at 684-1200. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police or Crime Stoppers. www.tipsubmit.com
