THUNDER BAY – Crime Report – There were two incidents over the weekend in Thunder Bay that have left one man in intensive care, and the other with a badly bruised back.

On Friday night, a man was walking along May Street when he was reportedly attacked by a group of men. The victim of this apparent assault was beaten, and stabbed repeatedly.

He was left by his assailants, and later found and transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where he underwent surgery to repair damages caused by the multiple stab wounds he received.

He remains in the Intensive Care Unit of the TBRHSC.

In the second incident that is reported to have happened on Red River Road, a young man was hit by a brick thrown from a motor vehicle.

Both of the individuals who were attacked are Aboriginal males.

Sources tell NetNewsLedger that Thunder Bay Police are investigating both incidents.
