Earlier this year WestJet announced the introduction of its new Encore service to the Thunder Bay market, with service to commence in June 2014.

“Thunder Bay International Airports Authority has been a popular destination for WestJet, and now WestJet Encore, linking Eastern and Western Canada for the past 15 years,” said Ferio Pugliese, President, WestJet Encore.

“It is only fitting that, as we celebrate a successful history together, we should mark the occasion with another first: the launch of WestJet Encore. The people of Thunder Bay and the surrounding communities have provided WestJet with tremendous support, and proven that air service is important to them. We want to ensure that we can continue to provide as many options and value as possible with greater access to our growing network in the coming years, as we launch WestJet Encore service beginning this June.”

“WestJet continues to respond to the needs of our guests, providing services and amenities for both our business and leisure service guests.”
