THUNDER BAY – Updated – Union Gas is on scene at Victoriaville Centre. The mall and surrounding businesses are closed. Thunder Bay Fire Rescue is on scene. Staff at some of the businesses in the mall have gathered at The Blue Door Bistro.
UPDATED: HGS workers are back at work, however the Victoriaville Centre will be closed for the rest of the day.
In a media statement the City states, “The Victoriaville Civic Centre, Victoriaville Mall and surrounding businesses have been evacuated and closed until further notice, due to a gas leak in the facility.”
