Murder Charges Laid by Thunder Bay Police
THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police are reporting on what is the first homicide of 2014. Police report that at approx 7:45AM on January 25, 2014 police responded to the 700 block of Kingsway on an ambulance assistance call.
A thirty-five year old male was found in severe medical distress.
The injured man was transported by ambulance to Thunder Bay Regional Hospital. He succumbed to his injuries.
A thirty-eight year old female known to the accused was taken into custody at the scene and has been charged with second degree murder.
The woman has a first court date of January 26th, 2014.
The investigation by Thunder Bay Police Criminal Investigations and Domestic Violence Unit continues.
