A New Look for Thunder Bay
THUNDER BAY – NetNewsLedger continues our ongoing evolution. Over the past year, as traffic has grown, and the business side of our operations have improved, our team realized the need for a new look, and a new design for NetNewsLedger.
That site has now launched.
Working with the team at Sencia Canada, based here in Thunder Bay, we started this process last April.
Over the years, NetNewsLedger has continued to change. The very first NNL. launched as a hand coded site. using a bright lime green. We rapidly shifted over to Joomla, and then to WordPress.
The keys to the new look are a faster loading site, and the ability to be easy to find the information you want and need.
World Class Design and Hosting in Thunder Bay
Working with the team of ‘Digital Surgeons’ over at Sencia, we have put together a site that allows for the continued growth, and expansion of our Thunder Bay based business.
Sometimes you can search the world looking for a great place to host your website and overlook that there are world class services right here at home.
The changes over the years have come as a result of increased readership.
In November 107,539 visitors were on NetNewsLedger. That total smashed our previous record by a ton.
The new design is an ongoing evolution. Watch for lots of innovation, change and continued improvement.
Some of the changes readers will notice have already started. NetNewsLedger has started our GO-LIVE© Video streaming, where we bring you news events live. Press conferences, important community events can be shared in their entirety. That is in keeping with our long standing ideal of giving you the total story in the words of the leaders.
Behind the scenes, in addition to our partnership with Sencia Canada, we have a new agreement that will help local businesses through an arrangement with the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce. The After Business events hosted by the Chamber of Commerce are now offered in an HD Livestream+ Broadcast in partnership with Business Solutions Group.
The team at Business Solutions Group are tasked with building NetNewsLedger’s digital social media presence. Over the past several months, the growth in readership has come from much of their ideas and innovative digital business solutions.
There will be lots of new innovations coming over the coming year.
The real story for all of the NNL team is you, our readers. Without you, there would be little point in us doing what we do. Any publication depends on its readers. We simply can not say THANK YOU enough!
Thank you, Meegwetch, Merci, Kiitos, and Grazie!
