THUNDER BAY – Kim Coreau and Help Make the Homeless Smile are on a mission. Coreau who is a street veteran handing out smiles and sandwiches to Thunder Bay‘s street community heard how single people and seniors won’t be on the list for Christmas Cheer Hampers this year. Instead of complaining on Social Media, Coreau simply realized that “Somebody” has to do something, and that she is a a “Somebody”.
A flurry of activity started on the group’s Facebook page over the weekend. If you want to help you can contact Kim on her Facebook page.
Coreau states, “If there is a senior or a single person that you know, who is in need of help this Christmas…have them call 211 to register for the help”.
“Registration is open from December 4th to December 10th”.
The group is working with the RDFA and helping to continue their task of making people smile who often don’t get enough smiles in their lives.
